DCSpy is off to upstate New York to watch DCSpy jr. graduate from college. Half way there, she informs me that it is my responsibility to throw some semblance of a post together.
While hardly my finest hour — I hope these links give you a nice distraction right before the long weekend. DCSpy will be back at it on Tuesday. Enjoy.
- The Watergate is finally sold - I am told the hotel has issues with the plumbing. God I hope someone under the age of 45 gets that reference.
- The Virginia governor is still in favor of offshore drilling – You’d think after appointing someone that helped Nixon catalog the number of Jews in the Bureau of Labor Statistics, he’d take it down a notch.
- FOXSports ranks the Redskins as one of the top organizations in the NFL - This was released the same day their defensive tackle — the highest payed defensive player ever — is skipping out on team workouts AND the stripper he knocked up. Bravo.
- Illegal sale of turtles resumes in Columbia heights. – There is a fear the turtles will be abandoned and thrown down the sewer. Wait– that sounds familiar.
Happy Memorial Day!

The Watergate. Is that where Lincoln was shot?
You conveniently left out how worthless of a player the defensive Redskin is, despite his high price tag. Which supports your point. However, you also left out the Redskins trying to trade said player, negating your point. However, fact remains: It IS a top organization.
I didn’t negate my point in the least. By giving such an untenable contract by definition means he has no trade value (thus negating your point). Moreover, it isn’t as if he was a surprise fail — the writing has been on the wall the entire time.
Had some problems viewing the website in Safari on the Mac, but apart from that loved the site.
